Strategic Logistics & Defense Services, LLC (SLD Services) is a Woman Veteran-Owned Small Business (WVOSB) providing agile defense logistics, comprehensive DoD procurement, and streamlined supply chain distribution for the U.S. Department of Defense and federal agencies.
Leveraging decades of government contracting expertise, SLD Services specializes in complex RFQ execution, high-volume and specialized material fulfillment, and end-to-end acquisition support. Our core capabilities extend to supporting the MRO mission, tactical and medical equipment distribution and kitting, contract support, third-party training coordination, and consultation for DLA, GSA, and other federal procurement programs. Shanna diep
PRESIDENT
Shanna Diep is a seasoned executive, entrepreneur, and United States Marine Corps veteran with extensive expertise in government distribution, federal procurement, defense logistics, and supply chain operations.
After many years with a large distribution company, Shanna founded Strategic Logistics & Defense Services (SLD Services), LLC in 2016 to deliver procurement solutions, 3PL kitting, contract management, and consulting services that support federal acquisition.
With decades of experience supporting the Department of Defense and federal agencies, Shanna has deep knowledge of DLA Troop Support, WAWF, DAPA, GSA, GCPC, and other key procurement programs. She has supported more than $600 million in government contracts, delivering mission-critical equipment and logistics solutions that strengthen military readiness.
Under Shanna’s leadership, SLD Services has become a trusted government contracting partner known for operational excellence, compliance, and responsiveness. Recognized as a fastest-growing woman-led business by the WPO and JP Morgan Chase Bank, Inc. 5000, The San Diego Business Impact Awards, and Enterprising Women. Kristi Strang
CEO
Kristi is a respected, dynamic senior executive with more than 20 years of experience building and leading high‑performing teams across procurement, logistics, operations, vendor relations, and large‑scale event management. She has overseen billion‑dollar procurement portfolios, guided organizations through major structural growth and acquisitions, and built strategic partnerships with thousands of manufacturers throughout the defense industry.
Her career spans prime vendor defense contracting, corporate operations, and hospitality leadership, giving her a uniquely versatile skill set rooted in strategic planning, organizational development, and relationship‑driven leadership.
As Chief Executive Officer of SLD Services, Kristi leads the company’s strategic vision and continued growth. She is focused on expanding capabilities, strengthening customer and industry partnerships, driving mission‑focused results, and advancing SLD Services’ position as a trusted provider across the defense sector.
Brian Kuhar
Director of Business development, USCG BMCS (Ret)
Brian is a growth-focused, value-driven business development professional based in South Central, Pennsylvania, with a distinguished background in strategic logistics and defense operations. Combining foundational leadership principles forged during his military service with advanced corporate strategy, Brian possesses demonstrated expertise in designing and executing robust sales and business development frameworks within highly regulated and mission-critical sectors. He currently lends his strategic expertise to Strategic Logistics and Defense Services, LLC.
Throughout his career, Brian has excelled at translating complex mission requirements into high-performance commercial solutions. By leveraging extensive, military-honed operational expertise, he has consistently optimized supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, and strategic resource allocation under high-pressure constraints. A natural leader, he has a proven track record of directing diverse, cross-functional teams to deliver sophisticated technical programs on schedule, successfully bridging the gap between operational end-users and executive stakeholders.

IVON hernandez
Director of operations
Ivon is a Marine Corps veteran who has been instrumental to the success of SLD Services since joining as the company's first employee. She has played a key role in building the operational foundation of the company, developing the processes and capabilities that continue to support its growth. As Director of Operations, Ivon leads all procurement activities and oversees the execution of government contracting, distribution, and logistics operations.
Drawing on more than eight years of experience in U.S. Marine Corps procurement, distribution, and logistics, Ivon brings exceptional operational expertise and a mission-focused mindset to every project. She is committed to ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient order execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service. Her leadership, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence are integral to SLD Services' ability to deliver reliable, mission-ready solutions to federal and commercial clients.
roselyn Guerra
Director of Finance
Roselyn is a Marine Corps Veteran and holds an MBA in Accountancy from DePaul University. As SLD's Director of Finance, she oversees financial management for the company's government contracting and distribution operations. Roselyn brings extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational accounting within logistics-driven environments.
Known for her analytical approach and attention to detail, Roselyn ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial operations while supporting SLD Services' continued growth and mission success.
